One of the powerful aspects of studying, practicing, and teaching ThetaHealing is the lifelong friendships that develop as an outcome of doing deep session work.
Marie and Flo met in Montana in 2021, hiking after the teacher training for Planes of Existence 1. They naturally connected because of their mutual theater background, their European roots, and dedication to making progress as full-time educators. They both found out it meant becoming hard-working business owners, which is rewarding, but it’s important to keep supporting each other along the way. As a healer, your brain works differently, it’s a constant journey of experimentation and self-discovery.
To support her clients and students, Marie created House of Kellen, a sacred space where people can explore their spirituality and deepen their connection to self. Her business is named after a house in Noerdange, Luxembourg where her ancestors lived. In addition to teaching ThetaHealing consistently, Marie works as a medical medium and psychic, and is skilled in rune and tarot reading. When she lived in San Francisco, she was known as “the breakup queen” because many sought her help to move on from their relationship dramas.
During the pandemic, she creating a platform for other healers to thrive, share their guidance and connecting souls. Here’s her collaboration with Flo on the topic of manifestation:

What drew Marie to becoming a ThetaHealing teacher is her own self-healing. When she moved to San Diego, she had migraines every single day, and after receiving sessions over a few months, they completely disappeared. “ThetaHealing worked for me; it simply clicked.”
“After doing some of the classes, I had to go for a biopsy. I worked on myself and could witness all the cells returning to being healthy. So when I went to the hospital, there was nothing to biopsy anymore. The doctors went from panicking to deciding they must have made a mistake. I consider this experience to be my first instantaneous self-healing.”
Listen to Marie’s Podcast
The podcast Marie recently started titled ‘Let’s get weird together’ has a great ring to it, especially when you realize the etymology of the word weird means “to be in control of one’s destiny.” Perfect for ThetaHealers whose daily life is changing beliefs.
As a woman of many talents, blending a passion for acting, singing, and healing into a unique and inspiring journey, Flo Ankah shared her story in an exclusive Zoom interview with her. In this candid conversation, Flo could open up about her experiences as an actress and singer, shedding light on the challenges and triumphs that have shaped her career. Marie described the impact of holding a Certificate of Science in ThetaHealing which made her develop her unique approach to working with the technique.
Being a healer and being an artist sort of inform each other. Flo and Marie are opposite here: Flo’s healing informs the art, and for Marie, the art informs the healing.

Working Collectively
It was natural for Flo to ask Marie to participate as a presenting teacher for the Spring 2025 monthly ThetaHealing practice. This event series is part of Flo’s passion project: a private student forum to stay in touch beyond classes, continue the conversation on the technique, and inspire one another. Flo says she finds even more joy as a business owner highlighting other people’s work: “Healing arts is meant to be a collective effort. It makes no sense if it’s one person at the top: that doesn’t work for the brains of spiritual people.”
If you are a ThetaHealer, you can join Marie for her event on the ‘Root of Relationship Drama.’ Her theory is that the ways we disagree in a relationship was pre-set before we even met our partners. Once you understand the root cause, you can stay in love with your partner. We want you to attend:
“Marie’s work on past trauma is remarkable. She shared her unique approach to digging into past memories in truly empowering way for the client when she came as a speaker for one of the Disease and Disorder certification training. My personal experiences receiving sessions from her have been life-changing; she can hold the space in such a profound way. And she’s my friend, you should meet her!”

Honing Creative Fulfillment
Marie is also a multi-passionate healing artist; her paintings are created with an abstract expressionism process, starting with a meditative process to tune into the music as her source of inspiration. She went through different phases and used to run her theater company, doing horror theater in the style of Grand Guignol as a writer/director, as well as a freelance stage or production manager and lighting designer. Marie’s unique hobbies involved communicating with birds, as well as, because of her involvement with the kink community, making giant crochet penis pillows.
“You have to find your fun in this life. When you’re comfortable with yourself, people can open up.”
–Marie
I asked Marie about her next steps. There’s definitely more time dedicated to writing the books, it’s been the focus. Her family is also talking about moving back to the land of her ancestors in Luxembourg. “I’m not sure when it will manifest, but it’s an intriguing adventure to look forward to.” For Marie, it’s been fifteen years of experience as a practitioner and teacher of the technique: ThetaHealing has been an amazing journey.

Some character traits I notice in people who study and teach ThetaHealing include curiosity, versatility, and a love of travel. Marie views traveling as an opportunity to grow and learn. She connects to the land to experience the virtues that each country is mastering, making sure to climb a mountain or a nearby hill along the way, finding the wisest tree and the coolest rocks in each place she visits.
If you want to explore our upcoming events, visit the student forum. It’s an excellent way to stay connected to other ThetaHealers, find exchange partners, and have conversations around the technique. Connecting with like-minded individuals on your healing journey on a daily basis will uplift your energy and allow you to feel supported on your path.
You can join Marie and attend our Spring Practice Event on Tuesday, May 13 at 2pm EST. Her work will help you to communicate your boundaries and do deep shadow work, fearlessly transforming the deep-rooted emotional blockages holding you back in life. Marie is a great leader and we are grateful for her guidance.
